SASMAR is seeking a detail-oriented
Logistics Operations Officer to join our expanding team. SASMAR is a pharmaceutical company leading in personal care and fertility products, including our well-known Conceive Plus brand. We distribute our products across over 70 countries through various channels such as supermarkets, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and drugstores.
As a Logistics Operations Officer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage our logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely distribution of products to our customers worldwide. You will play a key role in coordinating transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, aiming for smooth operations at all levels of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the logistics and distribution processes to ensure timely delivery of products
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize transportation routes and schedules
- Monitor and track shipments and inventory levels, addressing any issues or delays that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, including shipping documents and inventory reports
- Implement best practices in logistics to enhance operational efficiency and minimize costs
- Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with logistics service providers
- Support inventory management initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Prepare reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of logistics processes and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite and logistics management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to transportation and logistics is a plus
- You must be a permanent resident, or EU/EEA/Swiss citizen
