We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Logistics Supervisor to keep the operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of daily logistics activities; coordinating food packers, cold store pickers, and delivery drivers to ensure everything moves safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
You’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless customer experience by ensuring timely, cost-effective deliveries while maintaining excellent hygiene standards in line with HACCP requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operational flow of the Operations Departmen
- Planning delivery schedules and routes to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and correct temperature control
- Monitoring delivery routes and stepping in to support drivers when challenges arise
- Preparing and issuing accurate picking lists to Cold Store Pickers
- Performing spot checks to ensure orders are correctly picked, loaded, and dispatched
- Supporting delivery teams with loading activities when required
- Maintaining high hygiene standards across operational areas and storage facilities in line with HACCP
- Conducting random checks on outgoing vehicles to ensure orders match documentation
- Liaising with Credit Control on outstanding invoices and customer-related matters
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in Warehousing and Distribution, ideally within the FMCG sector
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proven experience leading, coordinating, and motivating teams
- A proactive mindset with the ability to spot issues early and implement practical solutions
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator
- A positive, energetic attitude with a “can-do”, right-first-time, and results-driven approach
