Welcome to HotJobs Malta (“Platform”), operated by searchmalta.com. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”), which form a legally binding agreement between you and searchmalta.com. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Account Registration

To fully access the Platform’s features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Job Listings

Users may post job listings on the Platform. You agree that all listings will be accurate, lawful, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for the content of your job listings and any consequences arising from them.

3. Job Applications

Users applying for jobs agree to provide accurate and truthful information in their applications. HotJobs Malta is not responsible for employers’ hiring decisions or the accuracy/authenticity of job listings. Users are encouraged to exercise due diligence.

4. User Content

The Platform may allow you to post, submit, or upload content, including resumes, cover letters, and job listings (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant searchmalta.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, display, and perform your User Content to operate and promote the Platform.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Platform for unlawful purposes or in ways that could impair its operation. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users or Platform staff
  • Attempting unauthorized access to accounts or systems
  • Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, spiders) to access or collect data
  • Violating applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

6. Privacy

7. Modifications to the Platform

searchmalta.com may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice. We may limit features or restrict access without liability.

You agree to indemnify and hold searchmalta.com, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or violation of these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, searchmalta.com is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta.

11. Changes to the Terms

searchmalta.com may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the Effective Date will indicate the most recent version. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

12. Employer Contact & Communication

By submitting a job application, uploading a CV, creating a candidate profile, or otherwise providing your information on the Platform, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:


Your information may be shared with employers who have posted job listings you apply to or who access your publicly visible candidate profile.


Employers are permitted to contact you directly for purposes related to recruitment, including:


  • reviewing your application,
  • scheduling interviews,
  • discussing job opportunities,
  • verifying information you have submitted.


hotjobs.searchmalta.com is not responsible for the nature, frequency, or content of communication between employers and job seekers.


Employers are independently responsible as data controllers under GDPR for their use of personal data received through the Platform, and must handle such data in compliance with applicable laws.


If you do not wish to be contacted, you must not submit applications, upload your CV, or create a profile on the Platform.
