We are a Corporate Service Provider seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our firm as an Accounts Clerk.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping & General Accounting
Maintain accurate accounting records, including purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
2. VAT Accounting & Compliance
Prepare VAT calculations, workings, and reconciliations.
Compile and submit VAT returns in line with statutory deadlines.
3. Financial Statements Support
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
4. Liaison With Tax Office
Liaise with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration.
5. Coordination With External Auditors
Prepare audit files, supporting documents, and reconciliations.
Address auditor queries and facilitate the audit process.
6. Client Interaction
Communicate with clients regarding accounting records, missing documentation, VAT matters, and deadlines.
Provide regular updates and follow-ups to ensure the timely receipt of information.
Deliver a professional and customer-focused service.
