Sales & Merchandising Representative – Stationery & Art Supplies
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales & Merchandising Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and enhancing brand visibility for our stationery, art supplies, and back-to-school (BTS) product lines across various retail and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and institutional clients.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure optimal product visibility, stock levels, and merchandising standards.
- Negotiate and manage trade promotions, shelf space, and in-store activations to drive sell-out.
- Collect market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
- Manage debt collection and payment chasing as part of client account management duties.
- Coordinate with the product and logistics teams to ensure smooth product launches and timely deliveries. May handle client order deliveries from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field or sound industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of sales or merchandising experience—preferably in stationery, FMCG, or consumer goods.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to actively participate in events.
- Fluent in English.
