What you will do:
Store Operations Support
- Support the rollout of new tools, systems, or processes that enhance operational performance
- Support with re-ordering of store consumables such as carrier bags, and other store supplies in bulk to get the best prices
- Support day-to-day ops for permanent and temporary clearance stores including overseeing rosters, weekly store visits, and supporting the store management, as needed
- Overseeing store rosters in Country Retail Business Managers absence, as needed
- Assisting in managing store operations, including trading and new store openings, refurbishments, and relocations, plus key events such as sale periods, Black Friday, and Christmas season, as needed
Communication and Coordination
- Coordinate cross-department and store communications, including weekly operations updates, trading hours, policy changes, internal meetings, plus minute taking and action point follow-ups to ensure smooth execution across all retail stores
- Support Country GM with co-ordination, planning, presentations, reports and tasks, as needed
Administration and Reporting
- Compile reports — including action plans where applicable — on all required weekly and monthly retail operations reports (e.g., manual discounts, uniform spend, payroll hours (cost metric controls), monthly store sales mixes) and communication on breaches direct to store managers
- Prepare and assist with monthly reports (e.g. sales trends and commission calculations)
- Maintain and update key operational trackers (such as the ops calendar, weekly staff gaps, store managers list, parking cards)
Retail Excellence
- Reinforce consistent application of the Hudson Operations Manual and best practices across stores
- Hold spot checks on store compliance (opening hours, cleanliness, health & safety, etc.)
Logistics
- Check all the anomalies when it comes to transfer inter stores and share a recap with data administrator
- Assist the Country Retail Business Manager during the stock take, if needed, and share with the store the rechecks to be done
- Schedule stock takes with Country Retail Business Manager and the share with finance
Finance & HR Support
- Support finance when it comes to discrepancies regarding the end of day investigations
- Staff discount report to be sent at the beginning of every month
- Manage the attendance system for retail staff and send a full report to HR on attendance monthly

- Complete a monthly spot check of store compliance as applicable, across the assigned stores (e.g: store trading hours).

- Effective collaboration with Country Retail Business Managers to ensure efficient operations across various stores
- Internal communication clarity rating received from feedback from Store Manager

What you will bring to the role:

- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and internal reporting systems

- Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders
- Fluency in English. Additional languages are advantageous
