Role purpose
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that the companies’ premises are kept clean, hygienic
and hazard free.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Clean and disinfect offices, windows, furniture, and walkways on a regular basis.
- Ensure that supplies are kept at an adequate level, preparing orders where necessary.
- Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fittings including glass and mirrored fixtures.
- Ensure that the walkways and fitting room area is always impeccably clean.
- Empty trash and ensure that it is removed from the shopfloor on a regular basis.
- Clean debris from entrances leading to shopfloor or stockroom areas.
- Cultivate/Clean plants, flowers and ornaments on the shopfloor or Hudson business area.
- Use all cleaning equipment in an appropriate manner and ensure that it is regularly serviced.
- Notify operations manager/shop manager of any items in need of repair including lighting, heating, ventilating equipment, carpets, and walls.
- Ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout.
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

- Must have previous experience in a similar position.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Be fluent in spoken English.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Organised and have good time management skills.
- Able to follow instructions give both verbally and in written format.
- Have knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Must have integrity and be trustworthy.
