Challenge Group is an international Group of companies within the Aviation industry. The group is currently seeking to recruit a ATO Officer in Malta.
The ATO Officer is responsible for the overall administrative and records management function of the Approved Training Organisation (ATO). The role ensures that the organisation maintains continuous administrative compliance with the regulations and procedures stipulated by the EASA and the TM-CAD, particularly concerning Personnel Licensing (PEL) and Training Organisation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and control the ATO's procedures, ensuring all changes are tracked, approved, and submitted to TM-CAD as required.
- Prepare and maintain administrative documentation for internal and external audits conducted by the TM-CAD and other relevant bodies.
- Act as a key administrative contact point for communication with the TM-CAD regarding licensing applications, changes in approval, and submission of mandatory documentation.
- Administrate personnel files in company server and software systems
- Regular checks of the validity of crew training status
- Communication with pilots
- Organization of courses: Operator Conversion, Recurrent, Upgrading, Instructor Meetings
- Liaison with training centers
- Update company materials for use in the Simulators
- Update Web Manual documents
- Any additional support needed by the Flight Operations Manager and Crew Training Manager
- Administrative tasks for the Flight Operations Department and Training Department
- Perform other duties as requested
Education
- High School degree min., Bachelor and/or Master will be a plus
- Additional qualification as Administrative assistant will be a plus
Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes
- Previous experience in flight operations is advantageous
- IT skills: Ms Word, Ms PowerPoint, Ms Excel, Ms Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with people from various cultures
- Disciplined to detail
- Be diligent, reliable, and independent
- Solid knowledge of office procedures
- Good administration & organization skills
