The Finance Operations Analyst forms part of the Finance Operations team and is responsible for delivering timely and accurate month-end reporting, as well as executing daily operational finance tasks. The role supports the integrity of financial data, contributes to process improvement initiatives, and ensures adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
Key Accountabilities / Key Activities
- Perform inventory stock takes at retail outlets.
- Support the inventory reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Post Accounts Receivable invoices and ensure timely processing.
- Assist in the preparation and completion of National Statistics Questionnaires.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support operational finance needs.
- Evaluate and challenge current processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support external auditors throughout the audit process by providing required documentation.
- Carry out any other duties as may be required in line with the role.
Core Competencies, Knowledge And Experience
- A Level in accounting or Diploma in accounting.
- Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to apply principles accurately.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- A proactive team player with a positive approach to work and continuous improvement.
