What you will do:
- Document Control: Maintain and organize contracts, agreements, and compliance files
- Regulatory Filings: Ensure timely submission of annual returns, licenses, and statutory documents
- Board Support: Prepare agendas, minutes, and resolutions for board meetings
- Legal Liaison: Coordinate with external lawyers for contracts, disputes, and compliance matters
- Policy Monitoring: Track legal changes and correspond with relevant parties to update
- Process Payment: Prepare payments for approval on bank online portal
- Audit Assistance: Organize documentation for internal and external audits
- Deadline Monitoring: Track tax filings, VAT returns, and statutory obligations
- Corporate Records: Maintain shareholder registers and company secretarial records
- Internal Coordination: Act as a link between finance, legal, and other departments
- External Liaison: Communicate with banks, auditors, legal counsel and regulatory bodies
- Meeting Scheduling: Organize meetings related to finance and legal matters

What you will bring to the role:
- A background in Finance and/or Legal industry, with experience at one of the major accounting firms, an advantage
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Knowledge of computer applications and accounting software
- Ability to understand complex oral and written instructions and technical or legal terminology
- Must have the ability to perform large amounts of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy
