What you will do:
- Act as the primary HR partner for retail operations, supporting managers across multiple stores
- Manage high-volume recruitment processes, ensuring strong pipelines and timely hiring
- Ensure effective onboarding through facilitation of new hire orientation and onboarding programmes
- Train, coach and upskill retail managers on people leadership, employee relations processes and HR best practice
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing timely and effective resolution
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions in cases of employee disputes or disciplinary issues
- Stay up to date with changes in local labour laws and regulations to ensure company compliance
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with labour laws and company standards
- Maintain and update employee records on HR systems and in accordance with legal requirements and company policies
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies, as needed
- Liaise with local payroll management company and/or central payroll team to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage local office in terms of day-to-day requirements as well as coordination with central Finance, IT, Operations, etc to ensure effective running of the local office

What you will bring to the role:
- Proven HR generalist background (minimum of 2+ years) with experience in Retail or FMCG industry, an advantage
- Experience with a multi-national organisation an advantage
- Strong expertise in employee relations, with high level of knowledge of local labour legislation
- High level of influencing skills
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities
