This vacancy has arisen within the Sustainability & Analytics Department.
Purpose of Position:
This role supports a wide range of sustainability initiatives, from audit preparation and compliance to project coordination and cross-departmental collaboration. The position plays a key role in advancing the company's environmental goals and ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory frameworks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective planning and implementation of sustainability projects by overseeing progress and coordinating with other departments
- Collaborate with other departments to conduct environmental studies and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Coordinate and monitor the progress of internal environmental action plans and initiatives across departments
- Contribute to the drafting and updating of environmental and sustainability action plans and reports
- Conduct targeted research to support strategic sustainability efforts
- Support the development and maintenance of compliance documentation and audit verification records
- Assist with preparation of sustainability audits and reporting
- Support the inclusion of sustainability considerations in contracts and procurement processes, including proposing and reviewing sustainability clauses
- Monitor developments in EU and local environmental legislation, including "Fit for 55" and CSRD, and communicate relevant updates internally
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- A genuine passion for environmental sustainability and a drive to make a measurable impact
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to generate and develop innovative ideas
- Excellent organisational skills, with the capability to manage multiple projects, schedules and meetings efficiently.
- Advanced research and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in documentation, reports, and project updates
- Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
